Olafur talks about a majority of his known artworks ranging from 1993 to 2008.
The video unfortunately does not include The Weather Project in Tate Modern, but that is a kind of an artwork, you can’t really see on a video or picture.
PS! The video itself isn’t 9 minutes in length, I just added a great song on 5:07 and I just could’nt cut it at the end, so you can also enjoy the song
Artworks in the video:
1. Your Space Embracer (in some building up phase, the real exhibition was in 2004)
2. Untitled, 1998
3. Beauty, 1993
4. Notion Motion, 2005
5. New York City Waterfalls, 2008
The song used was Closer by Kings Of Leon
Thanks for watching
Kaasmaalastele teadmiseks, mul on sellele videole ka eestikeelsed subtiitrid, kui keegi peaks tõesti huvitatud olema.

Screen will be 2′x4′ and concave with the user’s head about 2′ away. HAving trouble diffusing the light enough.
If it is only 2′ x 4′, why do you care about expense?
Try tracing paper or frosted mylar. You can get them at a blueprint or reprographics company and they aren’t very expensive.
Ok, so I know when the body dies it goes cold.. but what colour does it go?
You know if its just been left there?
Probably a silly question but does it really go blue? I’ve never seen one lol
I’m thinking of doing an installation for my final year of art.. and just getting some ideas x
Oh yeah thats what I mean.. Obviously only a blueish tinge lol. Thanks
Well, yes when a body dies and gets cold it turns blue. But in your art installation I think you should make sure it’s tinted only a light, light blue. If it gets too vibrant then it will look silly. Also, bodies go grey too, which I think would be better to go with than blue. It would seem more realistic. But be sure to use a light grey!
In this large-scale installation a 20 feet tall structure, with a pool of water for a floor collects the occasional drop of water falling from above. A 16 feet boat, suspended from the ceiling just high enough for the viewer to walk under its hull, pierces through the framework of the structure. Descending from 18 high, a wooden staircase enters the structure as well. It also allows the viewer to pass beneath it, but does not allow access as it enters the water. This work is sensitive to a viewers position within the gallery space and, accordingly, will have events take place that involve the lighting, video, audio, and a number of kinetic elements.

Does installation art belong to new media art? OR some of them can be considered as new media art?
yes and no, most sTates now have a budget for art that is installed in public places or new buildings and of course it may be an older style or something entirely new it all can be installed where it suits.
"installation art is the use of sculptural materials and other interesting material to transform a space or, argueably, an area. Installation art is not necessarily confined to gallery spaces and can be any material intervention in everyday public or private spaces."

Hi, I have looked all over the internet and cannot find an amazing art installation that I saw once a month or so ago that was by someone with an asian name, and it was a bunch of hanging, blinking lights (like the icicle christmas lights) and when you looked at it from far away it looked like a man running from the pattern that the lights lit on and off. When you looked up close it was just lights though. Does anyone know this piece or where I can find an image of it?
I hope You find that in the world’s biggest arts blog>> http://arts.tedbox.in

Home security is an important issue to discuss with your family. We all want to be safe in this world and depending on where you live; purchasing a security alarm system is the best way to feel safe. Home security should include investigating security alarm systems, security surveillance and fire safety. It is always a good idea to include fire safety in your family’s home security plan. If you have a business, business security is also something you should think about. When it comes to business security, the best way to handle that issue would be to look into purchasing a security surveillance system. Commercial security is an industry that is seeing an increase in larger cities. Due to the poor economy, many people are resorting to thefts and other crimes to make ends meet. Commercial security is now a topic that should not go overlooked. When you take a vacation, it is vital to make sure your home or business is secure.
Jacksonville and Tallahassee Florida make great places to take a vacation. The palm coast is lovely with its beaches, palm trees and ocean views. Jacksonville is a known for its U.S. Navy base. Tallahassee, Florida is known as the home of Florida State University. The palm coast is a wonderful place to have a vacation home or even a future retirement spot. Planning a vacation in Florida is a great experience, as there are plenty of things to do and see. The most popular attraction in Florida is Disney World. While it is a great place to take your children, it can be a fun and romantic place for couples as well. With so things to do and see at Disney World, the possibilities of having a great time are endless.
Securing your home while you’re away, whether it’s relaxing on a beach in Jacksonville, Florida or on the slopes of Aspen, is important for you and your family. Sometimes, it only takes a simple home security system that doesn’t cost much to install. Many home security companies have specials and do not charge a lot for installation. Some even offer free installation. The point is to make sure your home or business is secure while you’re away. If you have a larger home, a surveillance system may be what you need. These come with sTate-of-the art equipment that will be guaranteed to keep your home safe.

scuptural…..can anyone think of any very current artists I could look at for inspiration.
I would say Janine Antoni and Judy Chicago. Maybe even Rosemarie Trockel or Carolee Schneemann. There’s a good book out there on contemporary artists called Art on the Edge and Over.
